The Very Official Paper That Apparently Matters... Cat-Tastic Wonders® Trademark

Today's excitement began with an unusually loud gasp from the Human. Naturally, I assumed she'd won something important. Perhaps a lifetime supply of glitter. Maybe new sticker paper. Or an especially delightful shipment of shiny beads. I hurried over to investigate.

It was... ... paper.
One very fancy piece of paper. She was celebrating paperwork. Humans are fascinating creatures. The Human kept saying things like, "It finally came!"... and..."we're officially registered!" I checked twice. No glitter. No coupons. No treasure map. Just a very official-looking document with large important words and a gold seal that humans apparently find exciting. After much eavesdropping (a perfectly respectable market skill), I gathered that Cat-Tastic Wonders® is now what humans call a federally registered trademark.
Apparently this means our shop's name is now officially recognized all across the United States, and no one else gets to pretend it's theirs.
That... actually sounds rather useful.
I suppose if you've spent years building a cozy little magical shop, it's nice to have the kingdom acknowledge that it truly belongs to you.
The Human smiled at that paper longer than I've seen her smile at a shipping label in quite some time.
There may even have been happy tears.
(Humans do that. It's very confusing.)
So while I still believe glitter would have been a perfectly acceptable prize...
...I think this one might be even better.
Congratulations, Human.
You've protected the name you've poured your heart into.
Now if someone could issue a federal certificate declaring that snack breaks are mandatory every afternoon... that would be paperwork worth celebrating. Until next time— ✨ Lilli Keeper of Curious Things Professional Supervisor of Human Nonsense Occasional Inspector of Official Documents
